Approved For Release 2002/01/29 CIA-RDP78SO2149R000200100009-9 1 April 1966 MEMORAiWUM FOR THE RECORD: 25X1A SUBJECT: Information to by Telephone -r3 1. We estimate that at least 70 tons/day (23 trucks each with 3 tons) has continued to move south from Mu Gia Pass, based on the traffic count, 81104 ,- through 10 March on routes 911 and 23. This figure probably would be higher if coverage on route 911 had been maintained for 24 hours per day rather than for only parts of some days. 2. The number of trucks observed on the Mu Gia Bypass and on route 911 varies on any one day of observation from 0 to 40 or 50. These trucks apparently move through the Mu Gia area, either on route 12 or on bypasses built parallel to routes 12 and 23. 25X1A Approved For Release 2002/01/29 : CIA-RDP78SO21:49RQOO2'A0100009-9
