YESTERDAY, THE ANGOLAN MILITARY JUNTA ANNOUNCED THE FORMATION OF A SPECIALI.MILITARY UNIT TO RESTORE ORDER IN THE CAPITAL, LUANDA, WHERE 14 PERSONS HAVE BEEN KILLED IN THE RACIAL STRIFE. IN A PRECAUTIONARY MOVE, SEVEN US COMPANIES HAVE DECIDED TO EVACUATE 45 DEPENDENTS. THERE HAVE BEEN ABOUT 200 US CITIZENS RESIDING IN ANGOLA.
