Approved For Release 2006/10/19: CIA-RDP91-00682R000200070071-7 Journal Office of Legislative Counsel Thursday - 7 August 1952 1. I informed me that he has completed arrangements to withdraw the resignation of ATINTL as requested by Congressman McCormack in his letter of 22 July and that if the OCD appointment for I is not available when STATINTL he EODs a similar position will be found through the Pool. 2. Mr. John Mitchell, Counsel to the Katyn Massacre Committee, called to inform me that Classic Pictures, Inc. of New York have requested the National Archives to prepare a special print of foreign films on the Katyn Massacre. The cost of this venture was $700, but Classic has refused the National Archives bill. Mr. Mitchell thereupon called Mr. Max J. Rosenberg, of Classic, in order to assist Archives in collecting the bill, and Archives informed him that CIA was interested in this documentary. Mr. Mitchell wished to inform us of this conversation in case there was a security breach on the part of Classic. Approved For Release 2006/10/19: CIA-RDP91-00682R000200070071-7
