Approved Fo Release 20051 fC ? }R DP89BOO98OR000600040013-1 19 May 1966 Copy SUBJECT: Visit with Eastman-Kodak, 18 May, regarding U-2R Export Scheme 1. I land I met withi in Rochester, N. Y. , 18 May, to go over the Eastman inputs to the U-2R export business. had a list of a good many questions which we thoroughly thrashed out, principally having to do with re- action times on photo processing, distribution of film copies, personnel and financial matters. 2. A paper had been prepared by them in response to my cable requirement of last week, but in view of the answers to some of their questions, it was apparent they needed to give some additional thought to the matter and to resubmit a new modified proposal. 3. They did give us some preliminary figures which concerned numbers of trailers required on sight, tech rep personnel and equip- ment and film supplies. The net effect of our discussion was probably to reduce their figures, which at the moment stand at about per detachment with a year's operation to boot. I would suspect that their new figures will be on the sunny side ofI nd the numbers of trailers needed will be correspondingly cut. I suspect that it will be as much as another week before we have a final estimate from them. eputy Director of Spe a Activities 25X1 (fUU? 1 Wludcd from au'aratic d:s1nrr,,WPg sad dcr'^r1Sic~;lpti IDEALIST Approved For Release 20058 E/@RElf RDP89B00980R0 0600040013-1 25X1 Approved For Release 2005/12/23 : CIA-RDP89B0098OR000600040013-1 Approved For Release 2005/12/23 : CIA-RDP89B0098OR000600040013-1
