This memorandum fulfills my earlier promise to provide you with further information on the progress of FY 1970 outlays for publications procurement and specifically with a better guess at the effect of the on-going inflation. 2. I am now confident that the over-all price of publications in 1970 is at least 7.5% above the 1969 price. The upper end of the range is probably about 10%. The attachment presents the data available to CBS as of 11 March.
