1. On 17 April and again on 10 June 1953, low-wing monoplanes with in-line engines
continuously practiced take-offs and landings east-northeast of Minsk Mazowieckd,
(R 53/L 38). Source assumed that an airfield was located there. Only one air. craf-
was seen aloft at any given time. The aircraft were aloft for about 5 minutes.
About g to 10 minutes passed betwe landing and the next take-off. The aircra._N;

2. There were no indications of the existence of an airfield southeast of 2insk-Mazo-
wiecki, northwest of Mienia (A 53/L 48). No air activity was ever observed there.,

Mazowiecki. Accordiny +.n us information, Yak-lls were stationed at the
field. . As source in this report observed aircraft with
in-line engines, it is believed that Il-2s are stationed at the field. The
air activity observed indicates that training was conducted. A Polish ground att.txl
school may be stationed at the installation.
