pieces of legislation involving tax exemption for disability payments. In brief
Martin advised that even though there has been n.o change in the overall attitude
of the Committee opposing such measures, anticipated changes in the com-
position of the Committee after January could provide a more favorable climate
for consideration of an amendment to the Agency Retirement Act. He suggested
we discuss the matter further immediately after the first of the year.
