7. (Unclassified - THW) CONSTITUENT Troy Gustavson,
Press Secretary to Senator Richard S. Schweiker (R. , Pa. ), called
stating that a constituent, was working on a Master's
thesis and had asked the Senator to see if he could arrange to allow
Ito come out to the Agency to view U-2 documents recently
released under the Freedom of Information Act. I asked Gustavson to
find out specifically what he was interested in and perhaps we could,
provide copies, but I discouraged Gustavson from any idea that the
constituent could come to the Agency.

Collins (D., Ill.). Mrs. Collins is a member of the House International
Relations Subcommittee on Africa and would like a briefing on
Southern Africa and the horn of Africa on 19 October, at 10:30 a. m.
DDI/CSS, I called the office of the Senate Foreign
Relations Subcommittee on Foreign Economic Policy and asked
if we might receive a copy of a new Subcommittee publication
known as "Arab Money Weapon. " The formal title of the document
is "International Debt, the Banks and U. S. Foreign Policy.
A Subcommittee staffer promised to send a copy to us.

touch with OLC in the past (more recently on 27 July), called to
report that he is in Washington and has a new venture in mind that
he would like to discuss with the Agency. I asked him to describe
the venture in a letter to us which would permit appropriate
consideration. He said he would do so. (See Memorandum for the

of Louise King, in the office of Representative William Moorhead (D. , Pa. ),
who had called earlier with a request about U-2 photos. Ms. King was
out and would call back again on 12 October.
