The Situation in the Caribbean Through 1959

SNIE 80-59 for the most part correctly assessed the character
and prospects. for governments in the Caribbean countries and for US
facilities in them. The adverse trends in Cuba projected in SNIE
80-59 have become more pronounced since June.
