1. At the end of August 1952, the Bulgarian 3 Vidinski Infantry Regiment and 3
25X1 Artillery Regiment, both from Vidin, held maneuvers in the area of the villages
of Vidbol, Vidin province, and Tsar Petrova, Kula province. Attached to 3
Artillery Regiment were eleven T-34 tanks from the tank battalion at Lom and
an automatic rifle platoon. The regiment)to which the rifle platoon belongs
is not known) however, after the maneuvers, it remained at Vidin.
2. Three high-ranking Soviet officers, two in civilian clothes and one in uniform,
participated in the maneuvers.
