The average daily . number. of operational. freight ca vin a Russian zone
.of Germany between 25 and 30 September 1952 was 92,320. The average daily
backlog of unI.ispatched-cars was 2,750.
2. Between 3 and 10 October the average number of cars loaded was 25,531+ cars per
day. The average number. loaded for the Soviet authoritie:& was 1,546 ears.per day.
3. Locomotives controlled by. the SCC numbered 371, of which 118 were operating,
.167 were held in reserve, and.86 were under repair, as of 15 September.
1+. Coal stocks in the:ppsseasionof the railroads on 30 September amounted to 12.3
days'supply. This included 127,755 tons of hard coal.
5. The daily average:nu3nber of'cars-passing through the eastern border stations
between 4 and 11 October was as follows:
