Giaimo, who said he had a letter from a constituent that he would.like to discuss if I would stop by on my next trip to the Hill. I thanked him for the call and told him I would be by tomorrow. 9. I JReceived a call from Frank Slatinshek, Assistant Chief Counsel, House Armed Services Committee, who told me he had just talked to Chairman Lucien Nedzi, Intelligence Subcommittee, who is somewhat concerned about the coup in Ghana. Nedzi would like to know to what extent the intelligence community was aware of the coup planning and noted that we let Mrs. Nixon go down there.
