1. Beginning 26 (July 1952 seventy-six armored cars manufactured by the Mukden Arsenal
were sent from Mukden to Peiping in several shipments. This type of armored car
is used for infantry reconnaissance. They are armed with two light machine
guns and can carry three or four persons. Maximum production of these armored
cars began in September 1951. However9 the arsenal does not produce them in large
numbers at the present, time.
2. These armored cars were designed when the Nationalists were in power, and pilot
models were manufactured by the Chinese Communists in 1950. The Central Armored
Troop Command assigned two Soviet advisers to the Mukden Arsenal at that time
to study methods of production, and to make suggestions for improvement.
