:1. On 23 June 1952, 19000 troops of the 13 Army moved from the Ssumao (101-01,,
22-t7) P uerh (101-05, 23-03) area to the Lants'ang (99-59, 22-35) -menglien
(99,36, 2220) -Mengma (99-23. 22-13) area.
2a In late June., 600 troops of the 14 Army moved from Chenklang (99-259 24-07) and
25X1 Mienni,ng (100-03, 23-52) to the ( lichiang (0003/3068) -Menetung (99-15.9 23-09)
area.
3o In late June the Chinese Communists were planning to retake the Mengmao (97-52a,
2t-02) area, thereby cutting off the Nationalist troops from Bhamo and
