12. ( ) HEARING Accompanied the Director,
Tony Lapham, General Counsel, Acting Legislative Counsel,
and Assistant General Counsel, to a hearing of the
Subcommittee on Secrecy and Disclosure of the Senate Select Committee
on Intelligence on the use of classified information in court. (See
Memorandum for the Record.)
14. HEARING Called Sue Piland, reporter
for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and told her I would like
to have, as soon as possible, the transcript of the exchange between the
Director and Senator Gary Hart (D., Colo.) at the hearing earlier today
before the Subcommittee on Secrecy and Disclosure. Ms. Piland said
she believed she would have this to me' tomorrow.
15. LIAISON Met with Mike Epstein, Senate
Select Committee on Intelligence staff, who gave me additional requests
