R. 12171, the "Federal Accounting and Auditing Act of 1978. " I was informed that one day of hearings has already been held on the bill. The bill is currently pending before the Subcommittee with no formal action scheduled. I asked if the transcript of the hearing was available and was told that the transcript which is being printed by GPO is not yet available; however, a copy is available through the Subcommittee for reading and note-taking but not for copying. 14? LIAISON Received a call from Hal Ford, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, who said he vo uld like to interview DDO employe on 1 or 2 June in the morning regarding the Frank Snepp case. 15. LIAISON Called Bill Miller, Staff 25X1 Director, senate e ec ommi ee on Intelligence, at home to ask him whether the Committee would handle Agency information regarding Cuban involvement in the recent invasion of Zaire with the Senate Foreign Relations P5X1 Committee. Miller said the Committee would but mentioned that he had already asked A/DCI, I also mentioned to Miller the possibility of his 25X1 meeting wi Acting Legislative Counsel, to discuss our information contradicting the findings of the Committee's Angola report. Miller said he would be available to meet late today. 25X1 16. LIAISON Talked with David Bushong and Tom Moore, both of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, and confirmed the meeting tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. on Angola. 25X1 Cuban involvement. 17. I IBRIEFING Bob Dockery, Senate Foreign Relations Committee staff, called to say that in addition to the Committee's request for documents the Committee has now asked to have the DCI appear and brief the full Committee on the situation in Zaire.
