The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center iPic (MA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. The instal- lation is not rail served. Urban streets provide access to other installations. Minsk Barracks and Artillery OCS (AL-12) is located 2 km northeast and Minsk Army Barracks NW (AL-6) is 9 km west. Other military installations are located in the Minsk area. The installation covers approximately 60 acres and includes four administration buildings, nine barracks, eight storage buildings, five vehicle storage/maintenance buildings, and 21 support buildings (Figures 2 and 3). A small arms firing range, an athletic field, a large vehicle/equipment park, and several buildings at the northern end of the installa- tion were removed and the area housing complex. DESCRIPTION OF INSTALLATION Road Service The installation is served by urban streets. Administrative and Troop Housing Areas Area Dl (Figure 3) has two administration buildings, nine barracks, two storage buildings, and 13 support buildings. Five of the barracks 5X1 were first observed on coverage and one of the barracks was first observed on 25X1 overage. Area D2 has two administration and two support buildings. Trackage indicates all build- ings are probably occupied. General Storage Areas Area El has four storage and two support buildings. Area E2 has two storage and one support buildings. One of the storage buildings was Equipment Storage/Maintenance Areas Area J1 has one L-shaped vehicle shed whose wings are 110- by 30-feet, and 160- by 30-feet, one 140-by 40-foot maintenance building, and two support buildings.
