13. (Unclassified - RJK) LIAISON Accompanied Dick Brooks,
OWV'I/NFAC, and Bob Maclnnes, OSR/NFAC, to a briefing of Representative
Ralph Regula (R., Ohio). The subject of the briefing was a
purchase by the U.S.S.R. of a very large Japanese-produced
dry dock. The Congressman was interested because a considerable
amount of steel is produced in his district and he had received
a constituent inquiry about the sale. He requested an unclassified
summary of our discussion and we agreed to provide it. Mr.
Brooks will prepare this.
15. (Confidential - DFM) LIAISON Received a call from
Abram Shulsky, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff
who asked for another meeting with
both of DDO, regarding the Committee study on terrorism. 25X1
Shulsky said he hoped to have the meeting this week.
