ADD/I related that the Review Group is now scheduled to meet
tomorrow on Middle East problems.
Godfrey noted an unconfirmed Japanese report of a Korean
refrigerator ship with dead crew members on deck. Given its reported
location some fifty miles offshore, he commented that he is inclined
to doubt the validity of the report.
The Director noted that he spoke with Secretaries Laird and
Packard on thel problem and found them well acquainted

with his situation. DD/S summarized security approval procedures
outlined in a memorandum prepared in response to the Director's
questioning of yesterday.
The Director asked the DD/S&T to prepare material for tomor-
row's testimony indicating when he first mentioned the SS-9 and SS-11
in testimony on the Hill.
In response to ADD/I's question about the distribution which
should be given to a recently completed situation report on Soviet
ICBMs, the Director said that he wants to review the report prior to
distribution.
