1. As you know, we have had a real time the last couple of days getting
the tasking straight for this meeting. What I have for you in this package
is the following:
-- Your two drafts dealing with the Cuban threat and the conflict
in El Salvador.

2. I am not sure what all this adds up to, particularly at this late time,
but I hope that you have enough data to support your participation in the meeting.

3. Dewey will have the charts and the information on his recent trip and
the Cuban MiG 23s in the morning. He and I are planning to meet you at the
Old Executive Office Building at 8:30.
