SUBJECT : International Financial Issues
Members of my staff have completed. the attached
study that addresses some international financial
issues you recently asked us about. The report focuses
on the countries that are running into serious financial
trouble, the amount of debt rescheduling that might be
involved, and some of the risks that the financial
system faces. In order to keep closely posted on fast-
moving changes, members of my staff will be publishing
a biweekly situation report on international financial
issues beginning next week.
