Dear Mr. Casey:
It has been brought to my attention that you, in the past, have been
kind enough to agree to address certain local chapters of the
Association of Former Intelligence Officers, circumstances permitting.
A new Chapter has just been formed in Denver. If ever you are in the
Denver area and are so inclined, we would be most honored to have you.
as a speaker.

We would certainly see to it that local publicity, media attention and
suitable arrangements were laid on through Our chapter STAT
will have a meeting during Pearl Harbor Week this coming December. It
may be very long odds indeed that you will be planning a cross-the-
country itinerary during that time, but having you as our speaker
early in December would be ideal for our purposes. Naturally,
however, we will set up a meeting any time you so desire, given enough
lead time.
Our next Chapter meeting is set for October 3 at which Jack Maury will
be our speaker. I would like to be able to announce to the Chapter at
this meeting whether it is a possibility that you might be our speaker
some time in the future. Would it be possible to respond before that
time?
