Mr. Bannerman notedi comment on
expenses in his report of attendance at the PMD course. Apparently for
financial reasons his wife did not attend the Wives' Week. Mr. Bannerman
III, assumed that actual and necessary expenses in lieu of per diem as provided
in the Standardized Government Travel Regulations would be payable to those
who requested it during the period of Wives' Week. He suggested that the
check sheet for briefing and so forth of those attending the Harvaid course
include the matter of per diem versus actual and necessary subsistence
expenses during Wives' Week.
