Paper for SG 161/20
1. In January DIA distributed to you copies of
drafts for certain sections of SG 161/20. Pursuant to
the SG terms of reference and 0 agreed procedures, DIA has
now prepared a Paper commenting on those
rafts -- I.e., proposing amendments designed to bring
em into reasonable conformity with the relevant NIEs -- and will
distribute this 0 Position Paper as DIATS 63/AP-B.
2. DIA will summon a working group" to meet in Room 2 C 231,
the Pentagon, at 0930 on Friday, 18 February, to review the DIA
draft. As is now customary, the Board of National Estimates
proposes to hold its required review of tL^ draft with the USIB
representatives in conjunction with DIA's meeting with the working
group. Accordingly, your representatives are requested to meet
with Dr. Ludwell Montague, representing the Board, in Room 2 C 231,
the Pentagon, at 0930 on Friday, 18 February, for that purpose.
