Marshall will portray the head of the Central t Intelligence Agency in "Vanished," a four'hour television movie that will begin production in Washington, D.C., on is was announced earlier that Richard Widitiark would play the President of the United States in the drama, which is based on Fletcher Knebel's novel about the disappearance of a top presi- dential aide. "Vanished" will be produced by Universal-TV for telecasting next March by NBC in two two-hour installments. . Universal is still trying to ob- tain Robert Young, who portrays Marcus Welby, 1i.D., on ABC-TV, to play the role of a conniving senator on "Vanished." "The character of the senator is com- pletely different from the Marcus ' W e l b y image," a Universal spokesman said. - Tricia Nixon's personal tour of some of the family living quarters in the White House, which was televised last season, will be re- peated on CBS-TV's 60 minutes on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 10 p.rri. ..
