Dear Jerry:
"Project Saucer" has been reviewed by the Air Forts and
ourselves. The reaction has been negative. Altbogb you
are not requesting any assistance from the Department of
Defense, it would be aprpreciated, it you would make. chaages
in regard to CIA, the U3`O and the Air Force.
1. Delete reference to CIA. It would not be appropriate to
place one of their men in the position fictionalis#d.
2. The UFO investigation is not set-up factnaUy. 1 sclosed
in s copy of project blue !look 1 Februa~sy 1964 whlash might
be helpful.
3. Air Force General at the testing is an unnecessarily un-
complimentary character. He would not act as he does in
the script.
+t. It is not clear just what part the Air Force plays in the
testing. Any one of the manufacturers could ciarify this
opening sequence.
S. The Air Force should not be utilised or included in the
air drop in China.
Please keep us advised and we will look forward to receiving
revised copies of the Dooley Story.
Sincerely,
Approved For Release 2004/11/01 : CIA-RDP88-01365R000300080004-5
