Aircraft Engine Plant Tushino 500 is located on the NW edge of Moskva,
USSR, immediately south of Moskva Guided Missile Plant 82. Plant 500 ma
also produce missile engines as well as aircraft engines. Mission of
provides the first large-scale KEYHOLE photographic coverage Of
this installation.
New additions to the plant include 2 large assembly-type buildings
situated in the western portion of the plant. The larger of the 2 buildings
was observed under construction in Upon its 25X1D
completion in the spring of_ t e building measure by 360 feet (ft)
with approximately 255,600 square ft of floor s ace. Construction of the
second assembly-t e buildin be un in early was nearing completion 25X1D

provides 56,000 square feet of f oorspace. There has been no apparent
expansion of the engine test facilities at the plant.
At present there appears to be only 1 area of active construction, also
on the west side of the plant; a rectangular building is in the mid-stage of
construction near this area. Construction of the building, which measures
235 by 1l0 ft, was first observed in 25X1 D
