This year the National Association for the Advancement of
Colored People will hold its 68th Annual Convention in
St. Louis, Missouri during the week of June 27 - July 1,
inclusive. More than 3,000 delegates are expected,
representing the majority of the Association's 1,700
branches and youth units. The convention is the policy-
making body of the NAACP and the resolutions it adopts
serve as guides to national and local action throughout
the ensuing twelve months.
We have scheduled a series of workshops for which there
will be featured panelists who will discuss subjects of
major interest to our delegates.
We wish to invite you to attend and participate in our
convention. For your information, enclosed is a copy of
this year's Convention Highlights.
