CIA Conducted Experiments at G'I4J
Two projects, in the CIA's now-defunct MK-
-ULTRA behavioral research were conducted at
,George Washington University, apparently with-
,-out the university administration's knowledge that
CIA funds and purposes were involved, according
to.GWU President Lloyd H. Elliott-
- He told the faculty yesterday that CIA docu-
ments.show a grant of $32.858 to GWti in 1956-57 for
research into sleep and insomnia, and one of !;20,~
)00 in 1960.61 involving bioelectrical~,response)
patterns. None of the researchers is still at the una-,
