DATA ON RESOLUTION TARGETS
1. Two positive, extended range, resolution targets of the USAF 1951
configuration are supplied for your use.
2. They were examined for maximum usable resolution with a
M20-12000 microscope, at 500X magnification. Although the targets showed some
evidence of the bars bleeding into their adjoining spaces, they were found
to be usable through group two (2) element four (4) (1358 c/mm) when the
criterion used was as specified in MIL-STD-150A Para. 3.6.2.2.
3. The targets have been reduced 240?0X. In order to determine resolution
readings, the value for the maximum resolvable group and element should be
rea,' off of the attached resolution chart table.
