The equipment is going along according to schedule..
The chassis will be completed and they will start
wiring next week. The wiring should take about 2
weeks. All components are an hand except the
thumbwheel switches from They will assemble STATINTL
from the schematics and t e equ pment then goes to
the engineer and a technician for checkout.
Checkout will Mike start about 7 Oct. and will take
one to two weeks, if all goes well and it only takes
a week they will deliver on Oct 15 as scheduled. If
there are any unusual problems and checkout takes
2 weeks, they will be a week late.

a week ago. He had completed the design and
transferred the information required for follow up
and checkout to who will take over.
They are able to incorporate readily the change re-
quested by for increasing the resolution
of the reads s the STATINTL
reading heads. This will cost per axis an STATINTL
wil request a change of scope.
I asked - if they had an installation drawing
for this equipment and he said no, all the information
will be in the handbook. They often put out a Spec
Control Drawing however and a sample is enclosed.
If would like such a drawing, they will be glad
to pr pare it, The Spec Control Drawing is especially
suited to providing information for incorporating
the eounterfinto other equipment.
