MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD 25X1 A
Meeting - 17 September 1963
PURPOSE: To discuss computer interface, programming and equipment design.
ATTENDED BY:
The computer interface question wa.s discussed at length and a, dividing
line between the 490 and special computer hardware wa.s established. Other
decisions made were that the free-running mode would be eliminated, a
possible + 1/8" paper shift may occur over the 60" table area and was OK'ed,
thirty inch paper will run across the center of the 60" surface, and a,
floor to ceiling rack would be provided. We will tap cool air from the
building air conditioning system - which is piped through at 42? at 50%
Rel. Hum.
25X1A Since the plotter will be located away from the 490, a 75' cable will
have to be provided by The t e connector, pin assignment and
25X1 A impedence will have to be furnished
Space requirements - a minimum of 8'x8'x3' plus floor to ceiling
electronics rack.
Equipment will be 208V, three phase and will have a. peak load of 15-20
