This contract will result in a prototype easel to be installed on existing
equipment.

The VG-l easel requires the time-consuming use of weights to flatten. paper during
the exposure cycle. This development will eliminate that problem. The work
incorporates a unique scheme of valved holes which hold the paper down when
covered by the paper, but which close when not covered by paper and thus
conserve the vacuum in the easel.
