WHAT NOW FOR THE CIA?
HBS Club Reception at CIA Headquarters-Langley, Va.
September 25, 1975
6:30PM Cocktail Buffet
7:30PM address by
William E. Colby
Director of the Central Intelligence Agency
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance-some may agree
and others challege but William E. Colby is willing to
discuss the issues candidly on Thursday September 25, 1975
at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. Mr. Colby will
report on the recent Congressional hearings and describe
the future role he envisions for the CIA. Four senior staff
officers representing the four directorates will join
Mr. Colby in a panel during the question and answer period.
The evening cocktail buffet combined with a briefing by the
CIA Director will be the first time such an event has been
conducted at the CIA Headquarters for a group as large as
the HBS Club. To show our appreciation, all members and
guests are asked to cooperate in observing minimal security
requirements - NO CAMERAS - NO TAPE RECORDERS - NO NOTEBOOKS,
PENS OR PENCILS DURING SPEAKERS REMARKS.
In order to make arrangements to get admission to restricted
areas we have agreed to get our reservation list to the CIA
by September 18th. There is a limit on the number of
people the CIA can accomodate so get your reservations in
early. No telephone reservations can be accepted for this
event from sponsors, sustainers or regular members and we
will not be able to accept reservations received in the
HBS Club office after 5PM on September 17th.
Cost for the evening is $8.00 per person which includes a
light buffet and open bar. Please fill out the enclosed
reservation form completely if you wish to attend.
