MEMORANDUM FOR: Executive Secretary, Utilization Advisory Board
SUBJECT . Request for Release of TALENT Derived Information
Outside of the TALENT Control System
ATTACHMENTS . TCS-2831 plus one sanitized memo and
two annotated USAF Target Charts
1. It is requested that approval be granted for the attached
materials (one sanitized memo and two annotated charts) to be
released outside of the TALENT Control System and passed to the
DDP/SR Division for immediate operational use.
2. The memo and charts were prepared by HTA in response to
DDP Requirement No. 4-58. Although TALENT information was useful
in the preparation of subject materials, it is entirely possible
that they could have been prepared from collateral sources alone.
The information, therefore, is not directly attributable to the
TALENT source.
3. It is intended, if approved, to pass the charts "as is"
to the SR Division. The HTA memo has been rewritten by the TCO/DDP
excluding certain phrases which hint of the TALENT source. Both
the original memo and the sanitized version for SR are included for
your information.
