In accordance with the above regulation, the CIA Career Service Board has considered applications for attendance at the 1951-55 sessions of the three Service War Colleges. The Central Intelligence Agency has been allotted one space each in the ses- sions of the Naval War College and the Air War College and two spaces in the session of the Army War College. 2. A committee, appointed by the CIA Career Service Board, has considered a total of thirteen applications for the three Service War Colleges and has submitted recommendations to the Board, This committee was comprised of six individuals as follows: Mr. Matthew Baird, OTR DD/P Mr. George Meloon, Personnel ADD/I 3. After considering the report of the committee, the CIA Career Service Board discussed the qualifications of the candidates and recommends the following for your approval, to attend the forth- coming sessions: Air War College Army War College Naval War College 4. In addition to the above, the Board recommends that, should any vacancy arise prior to the first of August, 1954, ?
