Committee staff, called inquiring about a response to Senator u rig f, s`
letter on the Carver article. I indicated that due to pressure of business
we had not completed this althouc h I had just discussed this with the Director
a few minutes ago. He then inquired if we had any queries from the Arr :ed
Services Committee on the proposal to have some members of Senate
Foreign Relations sit in on CIA Subcommittee briefings. I advised Marcy
that we had no queries on this from the Armed Services Committee.
