with Miss Griffith in the Office of Senator Yarborough, (D. Texas) for
forwarding to a constituent. Miss Griffith was most appreciative of the
personal attention she has been given on this and previous requests.
7. Delivered the biography.of r 25X1
to Jim Cline, Staff Director of the House Immigration and Naturalization
Subcommittee.
8. Accompanied Security, to the
office of Senator Thomas J. Dodd where he conducted.a technical security
sweep. This was done in response to a personal request by the Senator.
did a very thorough and professional job but pointed out
that even a sweep of this type could not be considered to be 100% accurate.
David Martin, of the Senator's staff, was. also present when this was done
in the early morning hours.
9. In response to a request from Mr. Mark
Talisman, in the office of Representative Charles A. Vanik, for FBIS
material on the African area, I arranged for him to be put on the mailing
list for the Daily Report.
10. Miss Donna O'Bannon, in the office of
Representative Sam M. Gibbons, called to ask the status of the employment
application of She was informed that as,
tested on 9, 10, and 11 March and that a final decision wou e made in the
very near future. She was advised that we would keep her informed.
