1. The attached revision of NSC-11~} "Progress Report"
was prepared at the request of the Director of Central
Intelligence. The major changes are in condenss,tion, in
the use of similar phraseology for evalus,tior~, and t?o
give an indicatian where a deficiency exists that something
ca,n or cannot b~~ done about it.
2. It would be appreciated if representatives of the
agencies would meet in Roou~ 1128 M Building at 2:30 P,M.
Tuesday, 12 August, to correct any inaccuracies resultir~.g
from the revision. In the event any agency has minor
suggestions which could be transmitted over the telephone
that would be quite satisfactory.
