LIAISON Bill Miller, Staff Director,
Senate Select uon ttee~ },, _ _e1li.gence, told me the Committee would like
a briefing from Admiral Stansfield Turner next Wednesday at 11:00 a. m.
6. LIAISON Dan Childs, Senate Select
Committee on Intelligence staff, who had reviewed the memorandum given
the Select Committee on the Air Asia sale to E-Systemq gave me a list of
questions regarding the sale to which he would like answers by the
afternoon of 19 July.
7.1 ILIAISON Met with Mike Epstein, Senate
Select Committee on Intelligence staff, and showed him five DDI reports on

which he had asked to review. Later, Epstein returned the reports
and sai i.e did not need copies of them.
8. I ILIA.ISON Met with Elliot Maxwell, Senate
Select Commz et an In~en staff, who asked me for an annual breakdown
of the number of employees terminated under the Director's statutory
authority (Section 102c of the National Security Act). Maxwell would also
like a generic discription of the circumstances involved in the terminations.
ADMINISTRATIVE - DELIVERIES '-Delivered
to- Charles Horner, on the staff of Senator Daniel P. Moynihan (D. , N. Y. ),
"Directory of Soviet Officials, Volume I: National Organizations". Horner
asked about the possibility of being put on permanent distribution for this
sort of unclassified publication and I agreed to inquire for him.
