MEXICO CITY (UPI) -- Cu-
ban Foreign Minister Raul Roa
said today he had presented
President Gustavo Diaz Ordaz of
Mexico with "irrefutable proof"
a Mexican diplomat in Ilavana
was a spy, for the U.S. Central
Intelligence Agency.
Roa and Diaz Ordaz conferred
for nearly two hours yesterday
in a hastily arranged conference
against a background of deterio-
rating bilateral relations. Mcxi
co is the only Latin American'
nation that still recognizes the
Castro regime.
Both nations have been at
odds in a dispute over Mexico's
demand for the return of air
pirates. Relations grew worse
last week when Cuba accused
the press attaclie of the Mexican
embassy in Havana - of working
for the CIA. :i
Roa said in a statement dis-
tributed by the Cuban embassy
hero that "during our conversa-
tion I had the opportunity to
show President Diaz Ordaz part
of the irrefutable proof which
our government possesses on the
espionage activities" of the at-
