1. Returned herewith are the revised distribution lists for
four OCI publications which you forwarded by a transmittal
slip dated 31 October 1966. The original recommendation
that any changes in the distribution lists will be made by the
3 August 1966 this was set out in paragraph I a. It is regretted
that this memorandum did not make it clear that it is the
responsibility of the originating component to make the future
changes in the publication distribution books.
2. There are three of these books, one each in the Office
of the DCI. DDCI and the Executive Director-Comptroller. In
preparing the initial books we used the original list for the
DCIt s copy and made xerox copies from the original for the
DDCI and the Executive Director- Comptroller' s books.
3. It is requested that these changes be handled by your
office since the Agency Publications Board has completed the
ey of CIA Intelligence Publications and the implementation
the approved recommendations.
