Dahlin, Staff Attorney of the House Government Operations Military Operations Subcornrnittee, to visit the Agency on 16 December to talk with OCI analysts on the subject of the Soviet view of NATO. 2. Talked again with Glen Wilson, of the Senate eronautica an pace Sciences Committee staff, and provided answers to his questions on the Agency's comments on the Committee's Soviet space study. See Journal of 6 December 1966. 3. I I Attempted to get in touch with William Point, OSD, Installations and Logistics, for the purpose of learning what DOD .intends "to report to Congressman Dante Fascell (D. , Fla. ) concerning Point was not in at the time so I will try again tomorrow. 4. In res onse to Mr. Paul Goulding's call yesterday afternoon concerning I called Mr. 25X1A Gouldin and ave him an appropriate title and address for 'n the STATSPEC event Mr. Goulding was most appreciative and advised that he is forwarding a short resume for review in the event any other component might have an interest. 5. Talked to Mr. Bernard Martin at BOB concerning t ,e Agency legislative package. Mr. Martin advised that he had received our material this morning, had reviewed it, and passed it on to the interested review components within the Bureau. His quick review did not indicate a need for forwarding it outside the Bureau for review. He noted that their normal internal processing can run six weeks or more but indicated that he would try to shorten the process. He will check the various offices in a week or so when he feels they have had enough time to at least review the paper and will call me. Finley was appreciative of our efforts in this direction and said that Senator Joseph Tydings (D. , Md.) may well be interested in joining in such a session and that he would be in touch. Finley said that he had taken copious notes and wanted to expand these while events were still fresh in his mind for his own use and for such use as we may be able to make of them. 1, Met with William T. Finley, ~, I I Spoke with Mr. Jones, an Actuary for the Civil Service ommission, ~o determine what changes in the Consumer Price Index were being forecasted in connection with annuity adjustments. 3. Met with Mr. Phil Kelleher, House Armed Services Committee, and reviewed with him the proposed itinerary for travel next week to various installations having Agency interest, Mr, Kelleher advised that the Chairman would be returning to the city during the day tomorrow and that he would seek confirmation from him at that time. Mr. Earl Morgan, Counsel, requested advice concerning Mr, He was particularly interested in whether they are or had been Agency employees. After checking with the Office of Personnel and the Office of Security, I advised that I had turned up no record of Agency association with them. Upon receipt of this information, Mr. Morgan indicated that it might be a matter that the Agency would like to pursue further and requested that I come by in the morning. 25X1 4. Attempted several times during the day but was unable to reach Mr. Bernard Martin, BOB, who will be the individual responsible for coordinating review of the Agency legislative package (H.
