THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 50X1 the town of a popula- 50X1 50X1 2. The town had the usual means of transportation -bicycles and horse drawn wagons. -Once a day busses travelled through the town enroute to other villages towns, and cities.. 3. A railroad station was situated northwest of the town. The line was double track and came from .~vov and went westward to Przemysl. .There were both passenger and freight trains going through the town. There were from four - five passenger trains daily going through Gorodok. The town had one main street which r. an east and west going through the center of the city, It went east to Lvov a~r).d west to Sudovaya Vishiya? It was smooth asphalt paved and constructed in 1939-~k0, It was wide enough for two cars-and a third-car could squeeze by. 5. Another fairly good road ran south from Gorodok to Komarno R It also was two cars wide, but stone and gravel surfaced. Whenever it rained this road became very muddy. 6.. The region surrounding Gorodok produced considerable dairy products? The principal crops grown in this area were wheats ryeA beets and oats, Some ;,? ?regetables and fruits were also grown by each villager for home. use or for bartering. A public square was situated in the center of the town.. 8. A Roman Catholic church was located in the northeast section of town near public square and one old brick ~"~~~ Catholic church was situated on the southeast corner of the square, The latter church had three pastors.. 9, The tallest building in the town was three stories high. Fishing was permitted.. The most abundant type of fish found in the lake was carp.
