We talked about tactical nuclear forces and his trip generally. I didn't pick up anything particularly new beyond what came out at'the SCC meeting yesterday. Aaron is going to the North Atlantic Council meeting on the 6th of November to talk about this issue some more. He wants to be able to use our SS-4/SS-5 material on this. (S) 2. I gave him the charts on the PRC(I) and explained why we have a serious budget problem. (C) 3. We had discussed thel event with the President so we didn't take that up. I skipped Jamaica. (S) 5. We talked about SALT, but not very conclusively. (C) 6. We talked about the NID. He was anxious to get together with Frank when he comes back I to go over the reports that will have come in by then on it.
