Understood that B-47 and F3D aircraft being flown today. These a/c will provide useful addtl coverage but it seems still further effort is warranted. Two a/c available which could provide excellent coverage: Navy WV (Constel- lation) and SAC U-2 with System IV. Both of these collection systems provide automatic scanning of the radio frequency spectrum and on peripheral missions could give high probability of intercept of SAM-related signals.
