The Office of Logistics is not aware of any activity engaged in by the Agency which would be subject to the pro- visions of H.R. 10691. In those instances where it is desirable Senate bill S. 2525. It is our understanding that the Office of General Counsel (OGC) has also recommended that such amendments be included. For your information, we are currently forwarding all requests for transfers of property to foreign governments to the OGC for review prior to approval. 2. Until recently, the value of Agency owned excess defense articles transferred to a foreign country was included in the total reported to the Congress by the Defense Security Assistance Agency (DSAA). On 30 July 1976, the statutory re- quirement of reporting transfers of excess property to foreign governments was repealed. Presently, there is no reporting requireme. of which we are aware.
