Comments' This report jc t-norr , llv confirms the 1~nf'or-
ma on ve _Jae we-i,? as presenting addil.onal
,,details. There as still no a n: a that PbS photocellaj
or any other kind of photocells y are bir,in p ` iuced at Zavod 393.
It can be more or less `assumed that whorever OOERLICH is :located.,
K'e will be associated with photocell development. It seema not
unlikely that the Soviets possibly disappointed with the development
of the PbS ool.l at Zavod 393, exit now allowing the GOERLICH group f
little more freedom in this development program at ZEISS,j Jena+ The
comment on the inability to get low temperature
coefficient of resistance wire would seem to, indicate a ?posSible
bottleneck in the precision resistor supply in the USSR.
