Approved For Release 2003/05/27 : CIA-RDP86B00269R000500050051-5 OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE 31 March 1918 Mr. Mathias F. Correa Cahill, Gordon, Zachary and Reindel 63 Mall Street New York, New York This note, which is similar to one that I am writing to Bill Jackson and Allen Dulles, is simply a reminder of what I feel to be the importance of keeping a record of all talks in connection with the survey. So I hope you will dictate a brief memorandum on any talks which you have had or may have in the future, As we gradually develop our files and the prob- lems become more complicated, I think that the value of having a complete record of all our conversations will be very great. Problems will begin to crisscross and memories will become confused. A central record of all of our work will be a valuable source of information for the entire group. Perhaps you should dictate brief notes of your talks with Lewis Strauss and Admiral Gingrich. I had an interesting conference with the two scientists who recently resigned from AEC, which I will tell you about. I also hope to look up Colonel Seaman again this week so as to have some further ideas before our meeting on Saturday. Sincerely, Approved For Release 2003/05/27 : CIA-RDP86B00269R000500050051-5
