4, Spoke with Sen. Gurney regarding CIA bill and he suggested that
we keep in close contact with Sen. Saltonstall in order to assist him if necessary. After
clearance with Capt. Ford, attempted to talk with Sen. Saltonstall's office (Mr. Reynolds,
who has departed for Boston until Friday. Therefore, will take no further action in this
connection.
